Join us 24/25 July 2010 as we travel to Milwaukee for German Fest (the largest in the Midwest) where
we will join with the Milwaukee GAPA and members of the Philly GAPA to march in the German Fest Parade as well as partake
in the fest itself Saturday afternoon and evening. A deluxe motor coach will do all the driving to and from (Sunday morning).

Hey Rory,
finally i send you the picture of our evening. Again thank you very much for that invitation
and for your gifts. This was one of the nicest evenings in Chicago, I really wished I would have more time. But I know for
sure that I will come back again to visit you, Chicago and especially the great lakes!
I have allready another german PO who will join me next time. I would love to come to your german fest
or the german parade this year but yet I do not know if I can manage it. But I will have it on my agenda for next year! ;o)

have no email adress from Hans and Roger. So please send Roger my regards and thanks for the boattrip that was awesome, and
we were lucky with the weather. And also to Hans for the visit of the 17th. district police station.

The GAPA has received a thank you letter from Superintendent Jody Weis' Office for our contribution
toward the Chicago Police Department's 48th Annual Police Recognition Ceremony which was held 27 May 2009 at the Hilton Chicago.
St. Alphonsus, the only Catholic church in Chicago which still holds a German speaking mass, has thanked the
GAPA for our annual Christmas donations and will be inscribing our name along with other donors who have contributed
to the church's restoration fund during the last eight years on a commemoartive plaque which will be prominently displayed
in the church itself somtime in the near future.
No cost lodging for cops visiting the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, New York. If you know of any cops who are
coming to Rochester for medical reasons and would like to stay in free, fully furnished apartments provided for by the Rochester
