We have been informed of the passing of past Emerald Society President James McCarthy on March 9th, 2025. Jim was a retired 27 year veteran of the Waukegan Police Department, and in his role as Emerald Society President encouraged cooperation between our two organizations.
Our condolences go out to the family, coworkers, friends and the members of the Emerald Society.
