Clarence “Ed” Heerdt, age 90, Ret. C.P.D., SFC Army Ret. Beloved husband of the late Nancy J. Heerdt, nee Tross; loving father of Donna L. (Peter) Martin, Karen J. (Chris) Appel and Edward W. Heerdt; cherished grandfather of Andrew, Jenny, Emily, Matthew, Megan, Jason Danny and Brendan; dear brother of the late Shirley Ann Williams; Visitation Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Skaja Terrance Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee, Niles, IL.  On Friday Family and friends are meeting after 1:00 pm in the parking area of the Wyndham Moline Hotel on the John Deer Commons in Moline Il. and will proceed in procession to the Rock Island National Cemetery for a 1:30 pm.
